• Session Spotlight -- The Change Baker: Life is Like a Cake and you can make a big impact global and local from a bakery.
• Hello, I am Manolo, the owner of Manolo's Bakery. We are the first Latino bakery in North Carolina. We have been baking almost for 30 years and also the 2021 Worldread Hero by IBIE, yes, by this organization, and also the change baker. The change baker is a film made about my life as a baker, as someone that runs a business, a bakery, and create a change around the globe.
• What topic/trend does this session cover and why is it important?
• The topic of my presentation is life is like a cake. We are going to be making a cake with 9 different layers. Every layer represents a breakthrough moment of my life as a baker, as a business owner, as someone that makes an impact in the community. It is very important because we are going to be showing that it is possible to run a bakery. To run a business and create an impact locally and globally we can make a change.

• You will be learning that it is possible to run a business, to run a bakery, and to create impact and change locally and globally. You can do good things from a bakery.
