• Session Spotlight: Unlock the Future - How the CAPS Network connects Industry with Tomorrow's Talent
• Hi everyone. My name is Jennifer Lindsey with Corbion. I am the Chief Marketing and Digital Officer as well as the Chief Transformation Officer of Corbion, and I will be co-presenting with Nate Clayberg of the Global CAPS Network.
• What topic/trend does this session cover and why is it important?
• Nate and I will be talking about talent pipeline development. We keep hearing over and over across our entire food industry and in the baking industry in particular that we need to build a robust talent pipeline because the demand is greater than the supply. Yet we keep depending upon the same ways and methods to develop the pipeline and expect different results. CAPS is a global and national network of profession-based learning schools. They have profession-based learning platforms in which you can engage students and make them aware of our wonderful industry. We'll share how to do that.
