• Hi, I'm Peggy Tucker, and I'm an award-winning certified master sugar artist who has had the honor of demonstrating, teaching, and judging pretty much all over the world.
• What topic/trend does this session cover and why is it important?
• The topic we're going to be covering is scroll and designed work, pretty much how to create our own designs and take them from something simple to something elaborate. The last few years, piping is making a huge comeback. So let's make sure we stay current.
• What will attendees learn from this session?
• In this session, you're going to be learning how to design your own patterns, and then take that same pattern from something simple to something elaborate on your cakes. You're going to be learning about holding the bag properly, not overfilling the bags, and how to use the pressure on your bag instead of having to constantly keep changing out your tips. Speaking of tips, you're going to learn about tips because all of them are not created equal. You're also going to be learning about royal icing and a fabulous recipe for piping.
