• Hi, my name's Cori Winslow, Principal Engineer and food account manager for Vyv, a producer of non-UV germicidal visible light technology. In the session, germicidal visible light, GVL, an innovative solution for preventing salmonella, Listeria, mold, and mildew, we will cover 405 nanometer lighting as an innovative solution for helping mitigate contamination risks in food processing facilities, as well as supporting environmental cleaning protocols. We will dive into the light spectrum. how it works, why it's different than ultraviolet, and how it can be harnessed into form factors that can be implemented into facilities and used 24/7 around people. We will identify areas that can benefit from GVL, show real installation examples, and a bakery customer testimonial culminating in significant mold reduction and reduced customer complaints.
