- Session Spotlight: Don't Dread Dwell Time - Ways to Optimize Spiral Applications to Meet Increasing Production Needs
- Hello everyone. My name is Tom Perdue. I'm the product development manager at Cambridge International located in Cambridge, Maryland. We're division of Regal Rexnord focused mainly on metal conveyor belting for the various food and industrial markets. In my position, I'm responsible for the supervision of a group of engineers that supports the development of our new products, as well as providing technical support for our existing products. For this upcoming session at IBIE, we plan to discuss ways to optimize spiral conveyor equipment. What we're seeing in bakeries and snack producers there's an uptick in volume yet there remain skilled labor resource constraints. The focus of our session entitled Don't Dread Dwell Time Ways to Optimize Spiral Applications to meet Increasing production needs. We cover ways to help you achieve your production goals and provide tips for your maintenance teams on how to optimize the performance of your spiral conveyor equipment in your facility. In this session, attendees will learn what to consider when evaluating spiral production needs replacement and installation tips for spiral components, addressing belt tension concerns, predictive signs for proactive maintenance and repair and component replacement after service life is reached. So looking forward to this upcoming session as well as the general show itself. It'll be very interesting to see the many equipment displays by the various vendors along with the interaction with those that visit our booth. That always results in good discussion as we present our new products. I learned about the new and different applications and challenges from those directly in the baking industry, so we look forward to this. So see you in Las Vegas. Thank you very much.
