• Session Spotlight: Integrating AI into Your Manufacturing Operations
• Hi, I'm Matt Lueger, the executive vice president with Northwind Technical Services. We're a control system integrator that specializes in batching and mixing control, SCADA and MES integration, and other digital solutions such as AI.
• What topic or trend does this session cover, and why is it important?
• In this session, I'll discuss implementing AI solutions in your manufacturing process, some of the reasons that AI will be important for your businesses moving forward. We'll use some different types of artificial intelligence that are available today for industrial control systems, and we'll show some real world examples that hopefully highlight the potential impact they can have for each one of you.
• What will attendees learn from this session?
• I'm really hopeful that attendees will walk away learning, I guess, first, why exploring AI and their manufacturing process is important, 2, what digital transformation steps they may need to take to get their process ready for the artificial intelligence tools that are coming. And third and most importantly, I hope that they walk away thinking about where they can start in their manufacturing process, what problems or bottlenecks exist, and their operations that maybe AI can help them with.
